BLoss of a loved one can leave the survivor not only sad, but drained physically, emotionally and spiritually. Faith tells us that Christ will help us carry this difficult load but experiences may challenge our deepest beliefs. In response to the gospel message of hope and healing we explore this experience of loss through the eyes of faith. Each week in our 8-week sessions we gather with others experiencing the pain of loss in a supportive and confidential environment.
St. Mary’s program “Seasons of Hope” is offered three times each year. Specific dates and times are listed in the weekly bulletin and flyers located in the narthex.
Registration is required.
“Journeying through the Seasons”: Realizing that grief has no predetermined beginning and end, we also offer ongoing support and dialogue on the 2nd Thursday of each month for those who have previously participated in our Seasons Program. We gather monthly to share our stories, our cares and concerns as we journey through the various seasons of our grief.
Assistant Facilitators: Pat Mulligan and Deacon Jim Rizos.
If you are interested in participating in one of our sessions, please contact Bereavement Minister Peg Feyl at 973-886-4001 or email at [email protected]
